چکیده

This paper presents the closed-form analytical determination of current signature a surface-mounted permanent magnet synchronous motor drive controlled by means field oriented control strategy, when fault occurs in one or more sensors. Both DC offset and gain for all phase sensors are considered. The proposed model includes response loop related gains, eliminating need voltage complicated state estimation. However, approach requires solution an overdetermined system equations. Then new methodology is to save computing time, as alternative classical based on Moore-Penrose pseudoinverse matrix. Experimental results sensitivity analysis parameter variations confirm validity model.

Current Sensor Fault Reconstruction for PMSM Drives

This paper deals with a current sensor fault reconstruction algorithm for the torque closed-loop drive system of an interior PMSM. First, sensor faults are equated to actuator ones by a new introduced state variable. Then, in αβ coordinates, based on the motor model with active flux linkage, a current observer is constructed with a specific sliding mode equivalent control methodology to elimina...

Torque Control of Brushless Direct Current Motor Drives Using Single Current Sensor with High Reliability

Due to the simple structure, high torque density, low maintenance, and high efficiency, brushless direct current (BLDC) motors are widely used in automation and industrial applications. A control strategy based on single current sensor is proposed for a four-switch three-phase BLDC motor system to lower cost and improve reliability. The whole working process of the BLDC motor is divided into si...

Calibrating Bulk Built-in Current Sensors for Detecting Transient Faults

This work presents a novel circuit for detecting transient faults in combinational and sequential logic. The detection mechanism features a built-in current sensor connected to the bulks of the monitored logic. The proposed circuit was optimized in terms of power consumption and enhanced with low-power sleep-mode. In addition, a calibration method for bulk built-in current sensors is presented....

Mean and Diffrential Torque Control Using Hysteresis Current Controller for Dual Pmsm Drives

The dual motor drives fed by a single inverter are purposely designed to reduce size and cost with respect to single motor drives fed by a single inverter. This paper presents the speed responses behavior of Dual Permanent Magnet Synchronous Motor (PMSM) driven by Mean and Differential Torque Control technique. The drive is simulated by using Hysteresis Current Controller. MATLAB/Simulink is ch...
